Like a Flower Blooming in the Field [Da Capo]
The theme song from the TV show “Hadaka no Taisho,” which I used to watch when I was in elementary school. It’s an older song, with a slow tempo and sparse lyrics, but the way the words are chosen—almost as if observing life from a distance—still resonates with me today.
Star Guitar [The Chemical Brothers]
I think you’ll appreciate this one even more if you watch the music video—the visuals and sound work perfectly together. Released in 2003, it made quite an impact at the time.
