Like a Flower Blooming in the Field [Da Capo]
The theme song from the TV show "Hadaka no Taisho," which I used to watch as an elementary school student. Being an older song, the tempo is slow and the lyrics are sparse... the way it chooses its words, almost like a detached view of [life], still resonates with me today.
Star Guitar [The Chemical Brothers]
I think you'll appreciate this one more if you watch it together with the music video — the visuals and the sound line up perfectly. Released in 2003, it was a real shock at the time.
